This course is for students who are interested in learning how to make prints with linoleum blocks, but do not have access to a printmaking studio. This approach allows students to broaden their practice and remove their dependency on a studio space. This kind of adaptability will help students to be flexible in the spaces they create work. Class discussions will focus on how the linocut process reinterprets students original images and whether it changes the idea behind the image. The process will allow students to experiment with their existing drawings, photographs, or designs.
