Drawing Projects Online (Ages 10-13)

Express yourself through drawing and learn a variety of techniques and approaches to build your technical, spatial, and creative abilities. Working with a range of materials, investigate contemporary subjects and themes through skills such as line, perspective, tone, proportion, composition, value, gesture, and contour. Visit the Art Institute of Chicago's global collection virtually as inspiration for your own projects. This course is designed for beginning students as well as those who want to continue developing their skills and confidence in drawing and can be repeated for continued skill and idea building.

Online courses include two hours of structured screen time plus one additional hour of activities that can be completed immediately following each class meeting or at another time during the week. For more information, visit What Does Online Learning Look Like
