Improve your ability to draw, paint, or sculpt the human figure by looking below its surface. This workshop examines how human proportion, motion, and balance are affected by the skeletal and muscular systems of the body. Each session focuses on a different section of the skeleton or musculature. Students draw from the live model throughout the workshop, exploring ways to amplify their understanding of the mechanics and aesthetics of the body. This course is a terrific brush-up course for artists and illustrators.
