Fashion Design Projects Online (Ages: 10-13)

Discover your own style as you take your designs from concept to reality. Engage in activities that guide you through the process of developing original ideas as you find inspiration for fashion in the world around you and respond to the work of other artists and designers. Learn to enhance your projects with technical skills such as hand sewing, embroidery, and draping, and supplement the studio experience with virtual visits to the Art Institute of Chicago and Flaxman Library. Open to students at all levels, projects vary from session to session.

Note: A sewing machine is optional.
