Artwork made in the age of digital production requires a longer and more critical look. In this five-week course, students will discuss the relative impact of works of art made in the more recent past, and work being made today. SAIC Continuing Studies' "Art History from the Ground Up" can provide a foundation for some of the issues raised in this class, but is not required for those who choose to jump right into Contemporary Art.
