Applying to graduate school in art and design requires much more than assembling a portfolio. Successful applicants understand why they want to pursue advanced study, how to identify programs that align with their goals, and how to communicate their creative practice effectively through portfolios, statements, interviews, and funding applications.
This five-week intensive guides artists and designers through every stage of the application process. Participants will refine portfolios, develop compelling statements of intent, evaluate graduate programs, understand funding opportunities, prepare for interviews, and create a realistic application strategy and timeline. By the end of the course, each student will leave with a near-complete application package and a personalized roadmap for applying to graduate programs.
Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026.
