In this course, students learn to assemble garments covering the female form's upper half. Industry standard techniques and tips are presented for sewing a pattern for a button-down shirt with sleeves and a lined, zippered shell. Students leave with the ability to transfer their skills to commercial patterns or their designs. Previous sewing experience is required. The SAIC ACE course Sewing Techniques: Fundamentals would provide you with an introductory experience. Note: A sewing machine is required if taking this course online.
