In this course, students learn to assemble garments covering the female form's upper half. Industry standard techniques and tips are presented for sewing a pattern for a button-down shirt with sleeves and a lined, zippered shell. Students leave with the ability to transfer their skills to commercial patterns or their designs.
Note: Previous sewing experience is required. SAIC's course Sewing Techniques: Fundamentals would provide you with an introductory experience. This fall, it is offered on Monday Evenings or Saturday Afternoons.
This class is taught by Isaac Couch.
Registration closes at noon on Thursday, September 25th.
