Portrait Drawing

This class draws focus to the proportional relationship between the human head and face to achieve a naturalistic resemblance in your drawings. Explore the use of line, shape, light, and shadow to create believable volumetric form. Black and white as well as color is investigated as you draw from a live model in class. Discussion and presentations on contemporary portraiture and group and individual reviews of work are also included.
