S5 Portfolio Prep Studio: The Final Presentation

In this hands-on course, students work on the development and presentation of their portfolios for upcoming college applications. Through dynamic workshops with SAIC faculty and admissions staff, students will discover the most effective way to represent their unique points of view as artists to the colleges of their choice. They will develop artists' statements, learn photo documentation best practices, edit and organize images of their existing works using Adobe software, and then graphically design a digital presentation of their work. Additional resources such as artist presentations, and the Art Institute of Chicago supplement the course curriculum.

*NOTE* Students should have developed a number of artworks either in previous ECPSI classes or independently before taking this course; they will be asked to bring in at least one art piece to document (and revise if needed). Students are encouraged to bring their own digital camera, tablet, and/or laptop for homework/research and after-studio hours projects.

1.0 College Credits
Full Tuition Cost: $1,785
This cost does not reflect any potential Merit Scholarship or need-based financial aid the student may be awarded. Housing is an additional cost of $500; the meal plan is an additional cost of $100.

Option 1: Pay in full now.

The full cost of the program tuition includes a $100 non-refundable tuition deposit.

Option 2: Apply for aid/scholarships and pay a $100 non-refundable tuition deposit. 
Select this option if you would like to apply for a merit scholarship and/or need-based financial aid. You will be prompted to answer follow-up questions on the next few screens and pay the $100 non-refundable tuition deposit at checkout. Once you have been notified of your potential award amounts, you will be required to pay your remaining balance online by our payment deadline.
